V.E.C Investment Advisers Private Limited (VEC) has been set up by Mr. Arun Mehra who has been investing in Indian equities since 1997. Mr. Mehra as Head of Investment Strategy & Portfolio Manager set up and launched Fidelity International's India Investment Operation from 2003 -2006 including setting up the India based Equity Research group, the investment process, and structuring as well as launching the International and Domestic India Funds.

These were the first Fidelity funds launched on India for the onshore and offshore markets. Also, Arun was one of the first foreign investors to invest in the mid and small cap space in 2004.

VEC is engaged in providing research and back office support since 2011. It has been rendering investment advisory services to its clients since 2018. with an objective to provide research based quality investment advise to Indian investors.

The Growth Explorer as the name suggests looks for undervalued companies with accelerating earnings growth as well as those close to inflection point in their earnings trajectory. Several large companies in India are very well managed and governed but can have periods of under-performance driven by events in the sectoral environment and capital allocation decisions which can lead to lower price to earnings multiples (PE). As the trends change and earnings start to come through, one sees an increase in earnings multiples along with higher earnings growth. The end result for investors is a unique and concentrated large cap research bouquet with higher return potential.

What is a smallcase ?

A smallcase is a basket of stocks/ETFs* in a specified weighting scheme that reflects a certain objective (ideas, themes, strategies), backed by the research of the smallcase manager. You can invest in a smallcase in 2 clicks., *ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) are baskets of securities that track an underlying index (Nifty, Gold, etc) and can be bought and sold on the exchange.

Who can subscribe to these smallcases?

The smallcase manager decides who can invest in the smallcases created by them and can create two types of smallcases :, Exclusive smallcases : smallcases which require a subscription to the smallcase manager's Advisory in order to invest in the smallcase. You can subscribe to a smallcase directly from the smallcase profile through the subscription form., Public smallcases : smallcases in which anyone who has an account with our partner brokers can invest. You can invest in this smallcase by clicking on “Buy smallcase” in the smallcase profile and logging with your broker credentials.,

How do I track my smallcases?

When you buy a smallcase, the index value is set to 100 on the buy day - this helps you track the total returns without having to monitor each stock. You can also use the performance metrics to get a more detailed understanding of your smallcase.

How can I cancel my eMandate?
